BREADBOARD

BREADBOARD

Friends today we are going to learn about the bread board
as the name only suggests bread board is like a piece of bread having many holes in it but the special thing is that it is a board used in circuit implementation.
Because the solder less breadboard does not require soldering, it is reusable. This makes it easy to use for creating temporary prototypes and experimenting with circuit design.
the holes in the bread board are interconnected in a particular way like in the above bread board
the upper two tows (i.e holes in the x direction) are connected to each other they all are at the same potential.
the third to 7th rowsn (ie. rows marked as a b c d e ) are connected vertically internally so they are at the same potential vertically.
similarly the rows 8th to 12th (ie f g h i j ) are sorted internally vertically so are at the same potential.
and again the lower two rows are connected horizontally to each other and are at the same potential.

NO IT COMES HOW TO USE IT

It is used to apply your circutics practically. You can mostly apply the power supply to the two horizontal rows provided at the upper and the lower ends.
The other components of the circuit can be connected to each other using the other available holes.

as in the upper case the led will glow when switch is passed and the circuit completes

MORE EXAMPLES

Many other types of the bread boards are also available in the market like the below

these are the bread boards which are used for permanent mountings of the components these are not reusable i will tell about it later that how to use them and implement circuits permanently.
